Dragon Lee is off New Year’s Evil.
Lee announced on X Monday evening that due to visa issues, he was stuck in Mexico and as a result will not be able to make it to Tuesday’s NXT New Year’s Evil event. However, he did promise the No Quarter Catch Crew a "big surprise" for Tuesday's show.
“Feliz año nuevo! Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now,” he wrote. “Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.”
On last week’s NXT, a six-man tag was set up with Lee and the LWO’s Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde against the No Quarter Catch Crew (Drew Gulak, Myles Borne, and Damon Kemp). On the December 19 edition of NXT, Lee defeated NQCC’s Charlie Dempsey and Gallus’ Joe Coffey to retain the NXT North American Championship. The NQCC attacked Lee after the match, but Wilde & Del Toro came out for the save.
